The house is less then three minutes walk from beautiful Victoria Park, which features a number of play areas and sports facilities.

Also within short walking distance are a Post Office, two primary schools, a secondary school, a Tesco Metro, several excellent "gastropubs" and Bedminster railway station.

There are two particularly good pubs locally.

The Windmill (on Windmill Hill) is a recently renovated Bristol Beer pub, with a really good selection of bitters, lagers and ciders. They also do rather good pies and mash. There's a separate family room and terrace.

The Star And Dove (on St. Luke's Road) is a more gastro-pub experience, with very good food and dining, but still a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
